I, Us, All, and Kindness
Recently, Good Vibes Grand Valley Wellness has come out with a 1-2-3 pledge campaign in practicing daily kindness and gratitude to improve well-being.
With the three simple steps:
1. Offer "one" sincere compliment
2. Express "two" thank yous
3. Record "three" gratitudes
Organizers hope participants who take on this "1-2-3 Pledge" will discover several things. More importantly passing those kindness and gratitudes on to others.

I : The healing power of kindness
Extensive research has shown that acts of kindness affects the brain in a way that one feels a heightened sense of well being and euphoria. Both the giver and the recipient feel happier. Physically, kind acts even help induce feelings of relaxation and calmness and may even reduce high blood pressure as well as increase energy levels. Kindness not only makes us happier, but it also keeps our heart healthy and slows down aging. Allow kindness to become the natural and spontaneous response to every situation, with this increased ability to respond compassionately, true success will follow.

US : Kindness is contagious
Kindness is a ripple effect of positive energy. What you consider a little bit of kindness may just turn a person’s life completely around and give them hope for the future. For example, letting somebody into the better parking space, Holding the door open for someone at a grocery store, or maybe just simply smiling at your colleagues. The benefits of gratitude start with the dopamine system, because feeling grateful activates the brain stem region that produces dopamine.
Additionally, gratitude toward others increases activity in social dopamine circuits, which makes social interactions more enjoyable. The universe responds to these acts by bringing more and more abundance to you, them, and everyone on the planet.

ALL : Kindness can change the world
Changing another’s reality through your actions has a ripple effect which changes the world. By developing an attitude that you are contributing to the interdependence of all life forms, you will benefit, others will benefit, and ultimately the whole world will benefit.
The world is evolving in such a way that requires each of us to take responsibility to create and grow positive energy in any way we can. Each act of kindness might seem small, but it’s actually changing the way we see ourselves, the way we see others, and the way others see us. When we are coming from a place of kindness ourselves, we naturally experience kindness from others. Like I said — It’s contagious.
